Logistics & Support - Aviation Fuels Technical Support
This role provides expert technical advice and guidance on aviation fuels, lubricants, and associated products to support the UK Armed Forces at home and abroad. The postholder works closely with military personnel, project teams, and international industry forums to ensure fuel standards comply with legal and operational requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing product specifications, contributing to strategic planning, and managing risks related to operational energy supplies. The position sits within the Logistics and Support Organisation in the Ministry of Defence to help modernise logistic services.
What they're looking for
- Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific subject, or HND/HNC plus 3 years experience
- Member of a relevant Professional Institute or equivalent body
- Experience in fuels and lubricants laboratory analysis techniques
- Broad understanding of the fuels and lubricants industry and product chemistry
Qualifications
