Prison Officer - HMP Whitemoor
Prison officers protect the public, help rehabilitate offenders, and maintain safety and security within a prison environment. You will work directly with prisoners day to day, acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, and mentor to build positive, professional relationships. The role involves working closely with colleagues as part of a supportive team to manage various shift patterns including evenings and weekends. You will also need to complete initial training and pass a medical and fitness assessment as part of the process.
