Prison Officer - HMP Humber
Prison officers protect the public and help make a positive impact on prisoners' lives in a unique and fast-paced environment. Day to day, you will build constructive professional relationships, act as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher, and work closely with colleagues to keep the establishment safe. You will handle various shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends to maintain security and support offenders. This role requires resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills to guide individuals who may be at a difficult point in their lives.
